This DLC (downloadable content) for Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition adds the Italian and Maltese civilizations, with their own mechanics, buildings, explorer units, customizable home cities, unique units, and unique age-ups. Also included are 8 new historical maps as an alternative to standard random-generated maps. Finally, it includes the new Tycoon game mode, in which players while focusing on economy and management instead of combat, and the Diplomacy mode, in which players can change allegiances at will.
