Aiyoku no Eustia

Aiyoku no Eustia is a Japanese adult fantasy visual novel with a post-apocalyptic setting. Five hundred years ago, God was so angered by humanity's sins that he recalled his angels from Earth, causing the surface to be consumed by chaos. The last bastion of humanity is the city of Novus Aether, which is kept suspended above the surface by the continuous prayers of the Saint Irene. When Irene's prayers were interrupted, an event known as the "Gran Forte" occurred, which caused the city to split into two parts.

The player controls Caim Astraea, an ex-assassin in the lower part of the city who earns a living by doing odd jobs for his friend, as long as they don't require him to kill any more people. During one mission, Caim meets a girl named Eustia who has contracted a disease which causes those infected to grow wings. Curiously, Eustia is also enveloped in the kind of pale purple light that Caim has not seen since the Gran Forte. As Caim gets to know her better, he begins to unravel the city's deepest and darkest secrets.

Throughout the game, the player makes decisions that may cause the story to branch into different routes and endings. The game features routes for Eustia, Colette Anastasia (the current Saint Irene), Eris Floralia (a doctor in the red light district), Fione Silvaria (a police captain hunting a serial killer), and Licia de novus Yurii (the princess of Novus Aether who is interested in learning more about the lower city).

The PC version of the game includes sexual content which was omitted from the console versions.
