Aka-chan Dōbutsuen

Description

Aka-chan Dōbutsuen is an animal raising simulation game. The player takes the role of an animal caretaker at the zoo over the span of two years. They must tend to over 160 different animals from over 40 different species, including koalas, polar bears, and raccoons. Every day begins with the player waking up in their room. They then have to walk around the zoo, visiting the animals in their enclosures and making sure that they are well fed, healthy, and in clean enclosures. The player can also play minigames with the animals, such as tossing them rings or having them jump across a set of moving balls. There are 12 minigames in total. The animals can also learn various tricks, such as jumping through rings. At the end of each day, the player goes to sleep and the process starts anew. The player only experiences a few days each month rather than having to go through every day of the year.
