Android Invasion
Description
Android Invasion is a series of two fantasy strategy games for the Apple II.
In Dark Dungeons, the player's goal is to navigate a maze while trying to avoid an approaching dragon. The player is briefly shown the randomized maze from a top-down perspective, and then are placed in the dark, and must feel their way out of the maze. They must avoid a pink square representing a dragon which hunts the player through the maze, and can occasionally move through walls to chase the player. If the player is caught by the dragon before escaping the maze, it's game over. There are 3 levels of difficulty representing dragon speed.
In Android Attack, the player controls a small character who can move in 8 directions, whom is chased by a number of alien drones. The drones move relentlessly towards the player, and can not be destroyed unless they run into a robot, or the wreckage of a former robot. The player must try to trick the drones into running into each other and destroying themselves. The player has teleport options to jump randomly, safe teleport, confuse robots, or stand in place. The player has limited safe jumps. The goal is to avoid the drones as long as possible. A new level with more drones appears whenever a stage is cleared. Get caught by the drones 3 times, and it's game over.
