Annie and the Art Gallery

This is a single-player, keyboard-controlled game. It is classed as a psychological horror JRPG and, though it plays as a Japanese-style roleplaying game, there is an inventory and puzzles to be solved.

The bulk of the game is spent exploring the art gallery's basement looking into crates, reading labels and examining pictures on the walls. There are baddies in the basement and these trigger chase sequences where Annie has to run to a place of safety. These sequences will probably need to be attempted several times before a solution is found which is why the player is strongly advised to save the game frequently.
