Asteria
Description
Asteria is 2D platform shooter. It combines elements from games such as Minecraft or Terraria as it is set in an open, randomly generated world where everything is destructible. Various items and resources can be gathered to craft new items. At the same time there is a focus on combat as the player's character wears a suit and is able to jump, to dodge or to use platforms, and shoot. Aiming is done through the mouse in any direction.
The player controls Ryker, the last living human colonist after his people were wiped out by deadly aliens. He vows to take revenge. By going through levels he mines for resources and crafts objects while fighting aliens. The game has over 100 types of items that can be used to create gear for up to nine tiers. Ryker has an inventory with unlimited stack amounts. Next to the main game mode it can be played in a creative mode and the game includes an editor to design custom mods.
