Asteroid Zone

Asteroid Zone is an adaptation of the arcade game Asteroids for early J2ME mobile devices. Like in the original, the player steers a spacecraft around the screen and has to blast asteroids to pieces. Shooting an asteroid splits it into smaller ones and points are scored for each hit. Lives are lost when colliding with one of the rocks and when out of lives the game is over and the player gets to enter initials for a high score.
