Astroship Evader
Description
Astroship Evader is an arcade style, freeware game with both one and a two player modes.
The single player mode is called Meteor Storm, in it the player's ship sits at the bottom of the screen and moves left/right as the player moves the mouse. It's a timed game and the object is to last two minutes while avoiding descending meteors and picking up bonuses and power-ups. This mode has two difficulty settings and the number of player lives, default three, can be changed
The two player Battle Mode game has one player at the bottom of the screen controlling their ship with the mouse while the other player is at the top of the screen controlling their ship with the keyboard. Between the players is an asteroid field and the object is to destroy the opponent.
The game has a high-score table, music, and in-game help
