Atlantis Rising

Atlantis Rising is a single-player Defender clone set under water rather than in space. The story behind the game is that the Atlanteans have lived in peace at the bottom of the sea for over two thousand years. Now the pollution of the seas has become so bad that it has reached down to the depths where they live. They have been cleaning the seas as well as they can but they cannot keep pace with mankind's folly.

This led to a war with mankind and now the domes of Atlantis have been breached. A brave pilot is needed to take the lone submarine and defend Atlantis. The task is to kill all the enemies, both mutated fish and submarines, catch the falling engineers and return them to Atlantis.

This sets the scene for a side scrolling shooter which has sound and can be played with the keyboard or the joystick and the controls of both can be customised.
