AXRIA Retro World

AXRIA Retro World is a 2D platformer indie game, aimed toward retro gamers as it pays homage to Nintendo's black & white Gameboy games.

The game stars Sarah Kinzi, a young creative woman who seeks adventure. The plot involves Dr. Scarfire taking over Moonlight Island (Sarah's home) with his own made creatures, Sarah uses the Power-Star of AXRIA (Her home planet) on the way to stop Scarfire's scheme.

Gameplay involves platforming, collecting diamonds and jumping on enemies - eventually reaching the end of each stage. Much like Super Mario Land, However it also pays tribute to Mr Gimmick with the Power-Star weapon, though it can be bounced around by the player and can be used to collect other items depending on players velocity.
