B-7

Description

B-7 is a point-and-click science-fiction adventure game, inspired by the 1970s–80s British TV series Blake's 7. It follows a classic escape-and-explore structure, blending puzzle-solving, inventory management, and interactive dialogue.

Players begin imprisoned, using improvised tools—such as broken glass, electrical cable, and makeshift fire—to outwit guards and escape their cell. Progression involves carefully examining environments, collecting items, and combining them to bypass obstacles: cracking numeric door codes, raiding storage rooms for explosives and tools, and manipulating machinery. Guards can be deceived or neutralized through disguise, persuasion, and clever use of inventory items like a kepi or a jury-rigged "fishing line" made from different items. Settings range from claustrophobic prison corridors to an open desert ravine.

The top part of the screen shown the game environment, while the bottom part shows possible commands that can be clicked and the inventory. The game was released as shareware with a first episode called Insula Mortis available for free. The second episode is provided after registering the full version.
