B.U.G.S.

B.U.G.S. is a space shooter with many similarities to Galaga, but it isn't a straight clone of that arcade game. One of the differences in this game is that the player can freely move the spaceship. Adversaries, the "Bugs", come at the player character from different directions in different patterns on each level and must be killed. Sometimes, defeated enemies leave behind one of several types of power-ups such as special shields, ten rapid firing shots, and others. The graphics are 2D in 256 color, and the game uses DirectDraw. Players can use joystick or keyboard to control the space ship. The game has 50 levels on three different difficulties.
