Backup

Backup is a board game for four players at least one of which must be human. It is a turn based game in which players compete to be the first to move all four of their pieces around the board to a home square, the distance they move is determined by rolling a dice. On the board there are penalty/bonus squares such as ‘Back Four Spaces’; Roll Again’; Miss A Turn’ and so on.

The game is mouse controlled, one unusual feature is the ‘Scale’ option that’s tucked away in a drop down menu. The game board is too big to fit onto the screen and still remain readable so the default view shows only a quarter of the board in a scrollable window, the ‘Scale’ option shows the whole screen.
