Backyard Buzzing

Backyard Buzzing is a strategy game where you control armies of different arthropods and fight off the incoming opponents that install in the backyard. Most of the game's functions can be controlled with just the mouse by hovering, clicking and dragging.

You start off with enough money and level to build your first ant home, where you can start producing ant soldiers and turrets. Most units and turrets attack by simply firing white pellets with gun noises. Destroying all of your enemy's buildings and soldiers will grant you a level and a new wave of enemies will come. As the game advances, you unlock new arthropod buildings that make stronger units, such as spiders, beetles, dragonflies, etc. 5 of these arthropod buildings can be built directly on the map with the money you got from killing your enemies, while other 5 are upgrades for each of these buildings. Each unique building (including the upgrades) has 1 unique soldier and 1 unique turret (although all turrets work the same, with stronger turrets simply doing more damage and having more HP, but being more expensive). It's also possible to change the trajectory of projectiles by moving the screen around.
