Description
Balance is a one or two person, keyboard controlled game where the objective is to achieve symmetry.
In the game the player(s) control two on-screen hands to manipulate and position objects. The game is entirely keyboard controlled with the WASD keys controlling the left hand while the IJKL keys control the right hand (an alternate set of keys is available).
The game is divided into chapters. At the start of the first chapter the player is faced with a blank wall in a gallery. They first have to manipulate the picture hanging chords, then unpack and hang a picture, then position the overhead light and nameplate before finally unpacking and hanging six satellite pictures. Once this has been done each of the satellite pictures becomes a puzzle within which objects have to be positioned correctly.
Chapter two starts out the same way and presumably this is the arrangement in the rest of the chapters.
Within each puzzle are three hidden tokens, when found a cat appears briefly. The cats that have been located can be viewed in a gallery.
The game can be played using the keyboard or a controller in either windowed or full screen modes. It has music, sound effects - however I can only remember the cat meowing, and Steam achievements.
