Band of Heroes: Might and Pillage

Band of Heroes: Might and Pillage is a fantasy-themed shoot 'em up in which the player and his fellow heroes attack/shoot and run automatically. While trying to steal from the king the player runs into underlings of the evil witch Morrgarin who are after a strange jewel. As they leave with the jewel you barely manage to escape and go after the jewel. The screen scrolls up vertically automatically and the player can move his band of heroes freely around the screen. The goal of the game is to kill enemy units, bosses and structures you encounter.

The game offers several stages that increase in difficulty and five heroes to choose from that gradually become available when making progress. Before each stage the player can change the teams composition as only three heroes can enter the field. When killed, upgrades can be bought from the money collected from killed enemies. Each hero levels individually and has unique skills. More upgrades become available as the heroes rise in level. Achievement badges can be earned for accomplishing certain feats like killing bosses, killing a certain amount of enemies and reach level 10 with a hero. The band of heroes is controlled with the keyboard or mouse.
