Baron Rouge

Baron Rouge is a French 2D shooter where the player takes the role of the German fighter pilot Red Baron in a monoplane during World War I when he is on his way home. The player controls a plane on the far right side of the screen facing left. Movement is limited to up and down, so it is not possible to move horizontally. The Red Baron needs to defeat different waves of enemies appearing from the left by shooting them out of the air. Opponents include fighter planes, hang-gliders, airships, kamikaze planes ... with about 20 enemy types in total. The bottom part of the screen, about a third of the image, is taken up by cockpit controls. They cannot be operated, but show the score and remaining lives.
