Basment Dwellers
Description
BASMENT DWELLERS is a dungeon crawl lite-RPG in which the player descends into the BASMENT (and eventually Hell) to defeat the terrifying Arch-Demon. The map is procedurally generated and viewed from a side perspective. Floors are connected by ladders, trapdoors and water sections.
Gameplay is turn-based, with some elements of character progression (experience, levels, attributes, skills) and inventory management (weapons, armor, special artifacts). The player is constantly faced with tactical (how do defeat different enemies) as well as strategic challenges (when to replace equipment, what to spend money on, praying to the gods).
