Battle for Power

Battle for Power is an online Flash game promoting the 2008 LEGO BIONICLE products and storyline. The player must choose one side of the Phantoka (the term used to market the winter sets): the legendary and heroic Toa Nuva, or the treacherous and evil Brotherhood of Makuta. After choosing a side, the player chooses which characters to play as. The game was periodically updated over time to include more characters, with each character having their own page and Flash launcher. Gameplay is different depending on the character played.

• Pohatu Nuva and Vamprah have the same basic goal: fly around and defeat all the enemies.
• Kopaka Nuva has the goal of defeating each Makuta three times.
• Antroz has the goal of bombing Av-Matoran and their dwellings with his Tridax Pods.
• Chirox teams up with the Shadow Matoran Kirop and chases an Av-Matoran with the goal of destroying their jetpack. He must avoid crashing into other Makuta and defeat any Toa Nuva he meets along the way.
• Tanma's goal is to escape the Makuta, which must be either ignored or attacked.
• Gavla rides on Vamprah's back, bombing then Av-Matoran village with Tridax Pods.
• Toa Ignika rides on his Skyboard, trying to take out the Makuta and prevent their Tridax Pods from reaching the Av-Matoran.
• When playing as the Av-Matoran or Shadow Matoran, the goal is the same: collect their respective items (light spheres for Av-Matoran and Tridax Pods for Shadow Matoran) and safely make their way to the Swamp of Secrets.
