Battle Mine Sweeper

Description
Battle Mine Sweeper is a Puzzle/RPG game focused around mine clearing. There are multiple modes, but the main game is for the player and the computer to take turns choosing squares on a minesweeper board, looking for items (hinted with blue numbers), and attempting to avoid traps (marked with red numbers). Once all items have been found, a new board is generated. The battle continues until one of the players runs out of hitpoints. Traps include poison (causes damage over time), mines (causes damage immediately), fog traps (makes hints invisible), and paralyze (prevents actions for a few turns). Items include search (indicates the nearest square with an item), clear (clears five spaces in a "+" pattern, avoiding triggering traps), attack (damages the opponent), and recover (recovers hitpoints).
By winning battles, the player earns skills and gold. Gold can be used to buy items; these increase stats. Skills will be triggered randomly, and include the ability to move twice, counter attack, destroy your opponent's items, and so on.
There are also three unrelated puzzle types included. In "Two-sided take", the player needs to connect pairs of items with at most 3 straight lines, at which point they will disappear. The game is won when the board has been cleared. In 10x10 Puzzle, a 10x10 grid needs to have various pieces placed in it. If the pieces complete a row or column, that row or column will disappear. Play continues until no more moves are possible. Finally, classic Minesweeper is included. All three games are accessible from the main menu.
Modes:
-
Unarmed: This is a single battle against an opponent, without the use of items. However, unlocked skills will still trigger. Three difficulty levels are included.
-
Quest: This is the story mode of the game, that takes the form of a series of encounters. These will sometimes be a battle against an opponent, but can also be a gain or loss to a stat, or one of the three unrelated puzzle types. (The story is that monsters that can only be defeated with Minesweeper have shown up.)
-
Armed: This is a series of fights against opponents, with full access to stat-increasing items. Health does not regenerate between fights.
-
Ranked: This is a series of fights against opponents, where the top players in the world will receive rewards. Both armed and unarmed variants are included.
