Batty Zabella

Description
Batty Zabella is a point-and-click adventure / action hybrid similar to Elvira, not only regarding gameplay, but also the general setting. You play as eponymous vampiress Batty Zabella in a quest to find your husband Husbano, who has been missing for two weeks. Starting in your own house you soon realize that something is utterly wrong with your home after your beloved son also disappears. Despite the dark setting the game has a humorous subtone and is self-aware.
The character is controlled from a first person perspective, selecting the objects to interact with or the exit directly on the screen with a cursor. Picked up items are stored in an inventory and will be applied automatically when interacting with the correct object. To help with navigation the game also includes an ingame map, showing your current location on a drawing of the current floor. The left of the screen is occupied by a portrait of Batty, indicating her health.
If you encounter a ghost you may attack it (if your hair pin is charged), but except for the boss fights you may often also avoid it by just leaving the current scene. Ghosts will attack and hurt Batty, but it's possible to recover at a few locations in the game, and during boss fights it's even possible to heal directly.
