Beeline

Beeline is a 1-player arcade game for the BBC Micro.

Hank is no ordinary bee: He's blue, and when he gets angry he explodes. Hank moves left and right, flies upwards, and sinks down when not flying. On each level, the player must collect all the pollen grains, flowers, apples, honey pots, and bowls of water to open the door to the next level.

The player must avoid dangers, including: toadstools, lizards, spiders, insecticide, and trackers. Hank's goal is to return to his beehive, and has separate energy and anger bars. When Hank touches a wall or other dangers his anger increases. Anger decreases when Hank is resting. When the player touches dangers their energy decreases, which can be replaced by picking up more items. The player starts with three lives.
