Beetris

Beetris is a shareware variant of Hextris. Using a honeycomb as a metaphor, the player rotates and places hexagonal shapes falling from the top of the screen. Aligning multiple hexagons of the same color makes them disappear and rewards points. Additional points are awarded for quickly dropping the shapes. The game ends when a shape touches the upper edge of the screen after being placed. Before starting a new game, the player can choose the starting speed and the number of random shapes already placed on the screen. The objective is to score as many points as possible for the high score list.
