Belegost

An unlicensed Tolkien text adventure, this game sees players adventuring in the ancient Dwarvish realm of Belegost in search of the fabulous jewel Alqualamir. Gameplay is streamlined with use of icons to represent common verbs.

The original Spectrum version was available only in the Czech language; the new iPhone version allows a choice between Czech and English gameplay. Additionally, versions were released by OCSoftware for the Psion Series 3/3a and then NeXTStep in October of 1995, both in English.
