Berrrzerrk

Berrzerrrk is a game very much based on Berzerk. You are in a maze occupied by a vast number of hostile androids. Armed with a gun, you make your way through the halls blasting and evading. Each screen has its own layout of walls and exits, with each exit leading to another screen, and so on, infinitely generated. Enemies populate each hall and swarm towards the player. Occasionally they shoot at you, causing you delay and disorientation, while touching you causes you to lose one life. Players can either clear one screen and move on to another, or if outnumbered, just run for it towards a convenient exit and hopefully ending up in a more advantageous situation. Remaining on a location for too long is penalized though, as the game will generate an indestructible orb that comes homing towards the player and which upon contact will cause an instant game over.

Berrzerrrk has an infinite number of screens and no ending, so gameplay revolves around staying alive for as long as possible, while going for the highest score you can achieve.
