Bezwars

Bezwars is a 2-player competitive arcade game for the Apple II.

A Space Invaders clone where two players directly compete against each other. There are two player-controlled spaceships, one on the top and bottom of the screen facing each other. The ships can move horizontally, and can fire towards the opposing player. In between, a number of alien ships and vessels fire toward the two opponents. The players' goal is to try to destroy their opponent, or have them destroyed by alien fire. If a ship is struck by alien fire, it is destroyed. Each player has 4 spaceships, and the first person to take 4 hits loses the match.
