Big League Soccer

Big League Soccer is a text-based football (soccer) management game that came along in the wake of the original Football Manager. You get to choose your English club side and are tasked them with guiding from the old fourth division to the top of the first division (this game predates the foundation of the English Premier League).

You're unable to change clubs after you select your team, so choose wisely. After this you have to control the club's finances by wheeling and dealing in the transfer market as well as pick the team that's going to bring you glory.

Although predominantly text based, the game does feature animated highlights for you to watch.
