Description
bitter smile. is a Japanese adult romance visual novel about a man returning to his semi-rural hometown. The player takes control of Yuu, a young man who moves into the second floor of a takoyaki shop owned by the Todoroki family after spending many years away. While he rekindles his childhood friendship with the Todoroki sisters (Kaname, Sakurako, and Mii), Yuu also meets Isaki Miyatsubashi, a stoic and mysterious transfer student, and must decide which of the four girls his heart belongs to.
At certain points throughout the game, the player uses a map to decide where they want to go. If the player successfully views all the events involving a certain heroine, they will achieve that heroine's ending, otherwise, the game results in a bad ending.
The Windows version includes sexual content which was omitted from the console versions.
