Blasting Agent
Description
An evil terrorist organization has built a base inside an antarctic volcano, from where they launch their plan to take over the world. Only you, the Blasting Agent, can stop them!
Blasting Agent is a retro-styled platform shooter. Holding the fire button will lock your aim, allowing you to shoot while backpedaling. Throughout the levels you can find permanent upgrades for your weapon and health, these usually are placed somewhat out of your path and might require a bit of exploration. Different parts of the levels are connected with doorways which also double as checkpoints. You can go back through a door to explore earlier parts of the levels, and some doors lead to dead-ends with upgrades or gold. Stages can be replayed to collect any missed upgrades.
Completing a level with all gold collected and kills (90% of each on easy mode) will give you an upgrade, such as new moves or sub-weapons. The game features three stages, each ending with a boss battle. Hard mode is unlocked by beating all three levels on easy difficulty.
