Blobs
Description
Blobs is a single player Attax sytle strategy game, it is mouse controlled and in all variations the player competes with the computer.
Starting in the corners, players take it in turns to place a blob of their colour on the grid, there are two colours - red and blue, the player always plays as red. The game is turn based, in their turn the player may either move an existing blob two places away - this is called a jump, or they can place a new blob within one space of an existing blob.
If the blob is placed directly next to an opponent's blob(s) it change the colour of any blobs it is adjacent to. The game finishes either when the board is full (the player with the most blobs wins) or there is only one player with blobs left on the board (having taken over all other blobs).
The game is played on a 7x7 grid, in addition to the standard game there are seven variants which are played on the same grid but with some cells being blocked out by bricks to form patterns. brick cells are inaccessible, players cannot place a piece n them nor can they jump onto them.
The game is mouse controlled, has optional music and sound effects plus an internet play option. There is a save game feature and the game keeps track of the moves played and has the option to print these.
