Blockade Breaker

In Blockade Breaker the player controls a starship and fights hordes of enemy ships. It is a fast-paced, 2D vertically scrolling shoot’em up set in space with an emphasis on weapon and explosive feel. The ship can be freely moved on the screen. Next to an unlimited amount of regular bullets, there is a limited amount of bombs that clear the entire screen. Defeating complete waves of enemies provides power-ups and health. Destroyed enemies leave behind the credits currency that can be used between missions to upgrade the ship for guns, fire rate, health, bombs and speed. The ship can take a few hits and the remaining health is shown in the bottom left corner. Most levels have a boss at the end.
