Blocker

Blocker is a 1-player arcade game for the BBC Micro.

Oswald has been trapped inside a video game by his evil arch-villain, The Bomber. On each level, Oswald must move through a grid to collect the six detonators. The screen wraps vertically and horizontally. Blocks disintegrate behind Oswald as he walks, so the same area can not be navigated twice. The player must avoid sticks of dynamite, and the boot, which moves about removing blocks and replacing blocks, posing a significant danger to the player.

Between each screen there's a bonus stage, where Oswald drops down from the top of the screen, trying to avoid dynamite, and picking up a detonator for bonus points. Oswald is armed with a screen jumper, which can be used every five seconds to move the player about the screen. The player has 20 seconds to solve each puzzle, and starts with three lives.
