Boffin 2
Description
Boffin 2 is the sequel to the original Boffin, containing identical gameplay but 25 new levels.
The player has to help Professor Boffin travel through a series of caves as quickly as possible, by destroying all unlucky horseshoes in each cavern and then touching the resident owl. Boffin can move left, right, jump, and employ or retract his umbrella. The umbrella prevents Boffin from dying from long falls, and also can be used to destroy items. The player can only fall vertically and can't jump when the umbrella is deployed.
Each level has limited time to complete. Bonus points are awarded by destroying tripods, petri-dishes, and horseshoes. An extra life is awarded every 5000 points. The player must avoid barbed wire, giant hydraulic rams, puffer-blimps, and giant tarantulas. Trampolines allow the player to jump to great heights.
