Bounce Shot

Bouncians have invaded from deep space and enveloped Earth with their own bounce barrier, a wall that can deflect anything. Earth’s only hope is a secretly developed starship Shot.

The game is a blend of Space Invaders and Breakout. The player controls starship Shot with a mouse, moving it left/right at the bottom of the screen and shooting at a group of Bouncians approaching from the top and shooting as well. Some of them blink, and may explode and occasionally drop a power-up to increase a limited number of bullets allowed for the player on the screen. Some of Bouncians have protected sides and these can be destroyed by bouncing the bullet from a barrier that covers the battlefield. To bounce the bullet it should be fired when the Shot is not in a stationary position. The player loses a ship and all of the acquired upgrades if it collides with a bullet fired either by Shot or by Bouncians. A boss battle awaits on each tenth stage.

High scores are stored on the game server in a top 50 table.
