This Japan only re-release of Brave Fencer Musashi was part of the Square Millennium Collection, a collection of Square games packaged in a bigger box with several collectible items.

This release contained:

• The game Brave Fencer Musashi.
• A pouch designed to hold a Game Boy Colour or Wonderswan.
• A set of five post cards.
• A Minku wristband with a set of attachable Minkus.
