Breath Pirates

_Breath Pirates_is a text adventure set during the final months of the Black Onset, a dystopian period marked by extreme oxygen scarcity. In this world, breathing without a mask is prohibited. The protagonist begins as an ordinary citizen but, upon discovering a banned newspaper, sets out on a new path: to become a pirate. The game was intended as a prologue to The Oxygen Wars, a sequel that was ultimately never released, in which the protagonist would become the most important person in history.

Gameplay is driven by a parser-based interface. Players explore various locations, collect items, interact with the environment, and solve puzzles. The game includes sudden-death scenarios triggered by incorrect actions, such as choosing the wrong path.
