Bruce Lee II
Description
This fan-made sequel to Bruce Lee revives the late martial artist and movie star for yet another round of platforming action. His sister is being held captive in the palace of one Tao-Bao, with a suitable arsenal of bad guys to keep the Dragon in check - so our hero sets off to the rescue, with five lives and much fighting spirit.
Most elements of the original platforming classic are still in place: collect lanterns to open up new passages through the Oriental architecture; run, jump and climb ladders (and vines, and moving escalators) as your pursuers follow you from room to room.
Three new bad guys are introduced, and the familiar two from the first game will also drop in at a later stage. All can be dispatched by means of punches and flying kicks (though they still reanimate seconds after being killed). With few alterations, Bruce retains his familiar moves, which will come in handy when avoiding hazards like flying sparks, deadly spikes and electrified floors.
The game pays tribute to its predecessor by offering both Amstrad CPC and Commodore 64 graphical styles to choose from. As with the hacks and trainers often available on those machines, an infinite lives option is also present.
