Burning Monkey Puzzle Lab

Burning Monkey Puzzle Lab is a falling block puzzle game that uses hexagons instead of the common square tiles. There are two main game modes: Color Reaction and Hex Bonding. In Color Reaction the player has to clear tiles by matching four or more individual tiles of the same color while in Hex Bonding tiles are removed when horizontal rows are created. There are various special actions that are activated by certain tiles such as bombs, lasers and waves that can clear multiple tiles when activated. There are also debris tiles that take up space and are removed by clearing adjacent tiles.

Other game modes include the mission mode which alternates between Color Reaction and Hex Bonding levels. Each level has its own objective such as clearing a number of tiles. There is also a Zen mode which is without scores and increasing levels of speed and adds soothing oriental sounds. The game can be played in single-player or in a split-screen two-player mode against either another human or against an AI opponent. In multiplayer games, the player can send debris over to the opponent's playing field.
