C: Legacy of Red Falcon

C: Legacy of Red Falcon is a Contra fangame. A scientist has gone missing after reportedly getting his hands on alien DNA — it is a job for Contra!

Gameplay is very similar to the earlier Contra games, with a few features from later titles such as being able to carry two weapons.

There are several different weapons to find, and also more rare super variants such as the double machinegun. You also get a limited supply of smart bombs, and shields and medkits give you some additional resilience.

Alternate stages give you a jetpack, put you on a motorcycle or take the form of overhead stages where you must track down an objective.
