Cage

Cage is a fixed-screen arcade game for one player, where vertical bars grow from the roof downwards. Equipped with a gun, you fire upwards, attempting to shoot off chunks of the ever-growing bars and prevent them from reaching the floor. Once one or multiple bars grow all the way down, you are confined to a smaller area. Eventually you can't win, but you get a final score, depending of the number of pieces you have successfully shot off. The game has 6 different sets of physics to choose from, affecting the speed of your shots, the rate of growth etc.
