Caillou: Birthday Party

Caillou: Birthday Party is a game for children aged two to six and it is very similar to Caillou: Magic Playhouse released in the same year. It uses identical environments and the same setting, but changes the theme to a birthday party for Caillou, the four-year-old boy.

The player's character is invited to the birthday party. Caillou cannot find his birthday hat. By visiting the different rooms, six hidden party hats can be located. The game is won when all hats have been found and all mini-games have been played. There are also animated cut-scenes. Different colored arrows shows what can be done in a location: green ones are used to move to different rooms, a blue one shows a hat as been found and an orange one leads to a mini-game. The hats are added to the list and games can also be played right away. Children can also click various objects for a short animation.

Mini-games include guessing a present based on sounds, making a cake, musical chairs, designing party hats, matching melodies of songs, a number chase game based on maths, a bubble game with Caillou in the bath, a rhyming game and more. Mini-games have three difficulty levels.
