Captain Blood
Description
Captain Blood is a sword fighting game inspired by Rafael Sabatini's Captain Blood adventure novels. The main gameplay consists of fighting one-on-one battles where the key to victory is slashing, slicing or stabbing the opponent at the right time while blocking their attacks.
There are two game modes available: campaign mode, which is the story mode and features two campaigns, one with captain Peter Blood, the other with Velina. In this mode, in between the battles, players will be offered a world map to travel to various towns, where they must defeat two enemies and one governor to take control of the town and spend their hard earned gold received during battles.
The gold can be spent on regaining and raising Peter Blood or Velina's HP, as well as expanding their ship to have even more HP. It can also be spent on improving the strength of their weapons.
The second mode is a duel mode where players can hone their swordsmanship without any dialogue.
