Description
Captain Laserhawk: The G.A.M.E. is a top-down multiplayer shooter set in an alternate history in 1992 and a Cyberpunk location called Eden. It is based on the French–American adult animated television series Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix, which is in turn based on Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon, a spin-off of Far Cry 3. Next to characters from the show such as Dolph Laserhawk it stars Ubisoft mascot Rayman and characters from franchises such as Assassin's Creed, Beyond Good and Evil, The Crew, Rainbow Six, Splinter Cell and Watch_Dogs.
Game modes include Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch. Players move a character around an arena. Left clicking is used for shooting and right clicking initiates a rush that can stun opponents. There are different weapons, gear and emotes, as well as a Battle Pass.
It is a Web 3 game built around cryptocurrency and blockchain technology based on the Ethereum layer-2 Arbitrum network. The game itself is free, but a Niji Warrior NFT is required to play. It acts as a virtual ID card. Initially 10,000 were offered for free (minus Web 3 transaction fees). Later on the purchase cost around $25.63. The NFT mint began on 11th December 2024 via Magic Eden.
