Casper's Treasure Hunt

Casper's Treasure Hunt is a single player, single level, mouse controlled game that was probably one of a set of mini games used to attract kids to Trendmasters web site. It can be found on shareware/freeware compilations of games for children.

The game consists of a single screen showing the dimly lit interior of Whipstaff Manor at night. There are lots of spooky shapes to be seen. However when the player clicks on the torch icon the cursor becomes a small circle of light which changes everything, the scary thing on the floor is shown as a jumper, the dead body becomes a set of golf clubs and so on.

Casper is shown in the lower left of the screen and he poses a series of riddles such as "Look at the floor all covered with dust. For spring cleaning this item's a must" and the player has to use their torch/mouse cursor to locate the appropriate object.
There are six riddles per round with no additional hints and penalty for an incorrect answer. When all six riddles have been answered the player is asked if they want to play again.

Riddles are not repeated within a round but have been found to recur in the next game pointing to a limited question set.
