Catching Features

Catching Features is a sports simulation for orienteering that combines running (or on skis) with geography to navigate an unknown terrain using a map and compass. Players have access to several game modes, including multiplayer with mass starts, relay events or interval starts. The goal is always to travel between a series of points as quickly as possible by choosing an optimal route. It takes in a natural environment with hills, rivers, thickets, swamps, woods and so on. Other features are a random map generator and a map editor the option to plan full custom courses. Local terrain can be imported using an OCAD file converter.
