Description
ChessRally 2 simulates the chess board game through a variety of game modes: single-player games played against the Crafty chess engine, local multi-player games, e-mail games through internet or LAN, direct network multiplayer games (internet or LAN) and online games (internet or LAN) with support for lobbies through online Rally Rooms.
Features include computer suggested moves, rated games, risk indicator, move highlighting and validation, experimenting mode, move history preview, custom boards setups, unlimited undo, context-sensitive user guide, saving and loading games, printing capability, import and export for PGN and FEN formats, and downloadable themes and personalization.
After the initial release the game was updated for eight more years until the final version v2.6 Build 925 released in 2010.
