Chō Denki Card Battle: Yōfu Makai

Based on Hideyuki Kikuchi's horror novel Demon City Shinjuku, the Shinjuku district of Tokyo is utterly destroyed by a major earthquake and a rift opens, unleashing demons from the underworld. Yojimbo approaches the gate to Shinjuku, where the gatekeeper holds a deck of special cards, beginning the hero's quest.

The object of the game is to build a deck of 30 demon cards. Those cards can be character cards or special cards. Placing cards must be done strategically on a grid of four squares, each representing one of the four elements. Attacks between two cards are done in a clockwise direction. As cards take damage, they permanently lose health and power. The winner of the battle is the first who places character cards in all four squares.
