CINCPAC: The Battle of Midway

CINCPAC: The Battle of Midway is a 1-player strategy war game for the TRS-80 CoCo.

The player takes on the role of CINCPAC (Commander in Chief Pacific Fleet Headquarters) during the World War II Battle of Midway in June 1942. The player controls American naval forces against the Japanese navy. Each turn, the player controls the course and speed of their fleet, and can launch aircraft from either aircraft carriers or bases where craft are stationed. These sorties consist of torpedo, scouting, or bombing missions, and the player can land their aircraft at different bases. The goal is to seek out and destroy Japanese craft and naval bases during the Battle of Midway. Game play occurs in 1 hour intervals starting on June 4th.
