Circus World

Circus World is a single-player, business management game based on running a circus.There are two modes to this game, Challenge Mode and Career Mode.* Challenge mode: In this mode the player progresses via a series of challenges. To start with the game helps the player, the circus is already at Kingston upon Hull and for the first few tasks the player is told what to do. Soon the player hits a task that is impossible to complete because there are insufficient funds available so to complete the task they must run the circus and make a profit until sufficient funds are available.

• Career mode: In this mode the game play is exactly the same as in Challenge mode as the player starts with a circus booked in for a week in Kingston upon Hull and has the same amount of cash and no performers or side shows. The difference being that this game sets no targets and is completely open ended.

The game gives the player complete control over the circus, they hire performers for short or long periods, buy and maintain side shows, arrange bookings, take out loans, pick up litter, arrange advertising, stock the refreshment stand and set the price of everything sold from a bottle of pop to a go on the coconut shy. Whenever there is a performance they can optionally watch and see how well the audience react while between performances the player performs maintenance tasks on the side shows, picks up litter, tweaks the prices, books future engagements and optionally uses a fast-forward function to zip ahead to the next show.
