Coal Road
Description
Coal Road is a side scrolling run 'n' gun, similar to Metal Slug.
When a mysterious virus spreads in a city turning its inhabitants into "coal zombies", the Chinese government quarantines off the city and sends in two special agents to find out the source of the infection.
Gameplay is very similar to Metal Slug. The player can run, jump and shoot in four directions. They have a limited supply of hand grenades, and can also pick up special weapons with limited ammunition, including machineguns, shotguns and laser weapons. Armed vehicles can also be found and driven for extra protection and firepower.
The game features 5 stages, going from the town outskirts, over a bridge, through sewers and a shopping mall. There are two difficulty settings, and the game can be played with two players co-operatively. There is also an unlockable art galllery and item encyclopedia.
